What exactly is a Affiliate Program?

Simply put, a Affiliate is someone who sells someone else's products or services in exchange for a commission. When you sign up for Moms Meals Affiliate Program, you receive a unique code ( your username) that you tell people to use when signing up as a Moms Meals Affiliate and or Customer. They use your unique code when they call into Moms Meals Call Center or you can put the link on your web site or in your e-mail messages. When a purchase is made because of your referral, you automatically receive a commission.
What are Affiliates?

With the Moms Meals Affiliate Program, you have the opportunity to recommend the Moms Meals Program to your colleagues, customers, visitors to your website, and more. Every person who becomes a Moms Meals Affiliate based on your recommendation and makes a sale yields you a percentage of that sale. Do I need a web site to get started as a Affiliate?

You don't actually need to have a web site to market Moms Meals products. Indeed, some of the most successful affiliate marketing strategies -- e-mail marketing and classified ads -- don't depend on your having a web site at all. However, we would like to encourage you to set up a web site as soon as possible. How do I get paid once I make a sale?

All payments are made via mailed checks or PayPal. We regret we cannot make any exceptions. We send a check for sales for the month by the 15th of the following month. So, for example, if you make a sale any day in the month of January, your sale will be recorded and your payment will be sent before February 15th. We send the checks with US Post, so, depending where you are, it may take a week for the check to arrive. Most of the time, however, checks are delivered within a few days. To see if you have made any sales, log in to your affiliate account (http://www.momsmeals.com/affiliate/statsDetail.asp). If, for any reason, you're over or underpaid, the difference will be added to or deducted from the following check.
What kind of income can I expect to earn as a Moms Meals Affiliate?

It’s really a numbers game. If you are primarily a Affiliate you can earn on average between $15-$21/month/person for Customers your Affiliates have on a program. If you are acting as an Affiliate you can earn an average of $60-$84/month/person for Customers you have on a program. Hopefully, you can see that as a Affiliate you can really build a significant revenue stream just by knowing a few business owners and not having a large subscriber list yourself.

General Questions

I think I missed the latest Affiliate email. What do I do?

Because we don't keep email or newsletter releases to a strict schedule, it may seem like you've missed out on the latest Affiliate mailing even when you haven't. However, if you're certain that a newsletter was released and you didn't get it, you may want to check to see if the email was accidentally filtered to your "junk mail" box.
Where can I find my Affiliate URL?

Are all of my sales registered on my "sales counter"?

The visitor counter records every single person who visits the Moms Meals website by clicking through your Affiliate URL. The sales counter records all sales that are made through your Affiliate referral number for the day, month, or even year.

Technical Questions

I've clicked through my special link many times, but it only shows one visitor. What's wrong?

The software is designed so it only tracks the number of new visitors that come to our site through your link, rather than every single visit. We've done this in order to provide you with the most accurate way of measuring your conversion rates.
How will my visitors order?

We take care of everything! All you just need to do is to direct perspective Affiliates and or Consumers to the Moms Meals Call Center or web site through your Affiliate links, and we'll look after taking the order, delivering the product, and providing customer service. When the customer is ready to order, the Moms Meals ordering system takes over, and automatically processes the order -- while recording your Affiliate identification number, guaranteeing that you're credited for the sale. It is important to let Consumers know that to get the discounted price of $24.95 per day plus the lunch cooler bag they will need to have the discount code (your username).
How will you keep track of the orders coming from me?

It's easy! When you signed up as a Moms Meals Affiliate, you were assigned a unique identification number (your username). This unique identification number should be used when anyone calls into the Call Center and included in every URL that you use to link to the Moms Meals web site. Your username needs to be used for the Affiliate to sign up, or the Consumer to get their discount and free lunch cooler bag. We have special software that runs seamlessly in the background, automatically tracking everything without your visitors even being aware of it! If you decide to write a personal letter of referral or e-mail you'll need to use the correct Affiliate URL with your unique affiliate identification number in it.
How do I unsubscribe or terminate my Affiliate Account?

We are not sure why you would want to do this if you are receiving monthly commissions, but at any time you want to terminate your account, all you need to do is log into your account and at the bottom of the page select the RESIGN tab.
How do I change my contact or shipping information on my account?

If you want to change your email address, mailing address, phone number, company name, or any other information we have on record in your account, all you need to do is log into your account and select UPDATE PERSONAL INFORMATION.

To get started with our Affiliate program, you need to decide how you're going to promote Moms Meals. Are you going to be more of a Affiliate and target businesses and websites, or are you going to have a mix of Consumers added in. You also need to decide if you will utilize the telephone, face-to-face, email marketing, and a website if you have one. We offer a broad range of promotional tools that you can use for free -- including e-mail promotions, informative articles, classified ads, and e-mail promotions. How can I earn the most money with the Moms Meals Affiliate Program?

The best thing to do is put together a plan. Who you can target, how you are going to target your prospects, what you are going to say, how you are going to follow-up, etc. Remember it takes 5-8 contacts for someone to even remember your name. Is there a particular type of promotion that's more successful?

In our experience, the more successful forms of Affiliate promotions are those that either rely on the personal touch (like face-to-face, telephone, or email marketing), or those that provide a wealth of useful information (such as a product review) about the product. The best form of marketing is to your network of associates. E-mail promotions are particularly successful because you're sending a promotion to a group of people who are already interested in what you have to say -- your opt-in list. You know that they trust you, and look forward to hearing from you, because you give them really useful information. A personal recommendation to your opt-in list is always your best bet. Informative articles about the product are also successful. Typically, these take the form of a review from you. Again, you're capitalizing on the relationship you have with your visitors to present them with helpful information that they can trust.
How do I generate more traffic to my site and or to Moms Meals?

The first step in generating substantial traffic is to submit your URL to the major search engines. You should do this as soon as possible, as it does take some time to start appearing in the search engine results If you look carefully, you can sometimes even find classifieds and ezines that don't require a fee. Once they have voluntarily given you their name and address, they have "opted in." This database of subscribers is now your opt-in list that you are free to market to.
How do I recruit Affiliates?

The most effective way to recruit an army of Affiliates is by contacting everyone you know that has a customer base or list; or through an informative email or article that clearly explains the benefits of a Moms Meals Affiliate -- including your own personal recommendation explaining how you have personally profited. We've also created promotional materials that you can send via email and place on your website to promote the program. Remember, many people have never heard of an Affiliate program before and may have no idea what you're talking about until you explain it in "layman's terms" and show them the benefits.
