Jon Murray, Vice President, Production, joined Mom’s Meals in 2006 and has served as Production Scheduler, Fulfillment Manager, Plant Manager and Director of Kitchen Operations prior to being promoted to Vice President of Production in 2017. In his current role, Jon has oversite of three United States Department of Agriculture inspected ready-to-eat food production facilities. This includes managing operating costs, meal production capacities, budgeting and planning for staffing requirements and capital improvements.
Prior to Mom’s Meals, Jon worked at Earth Tech where he was responsible for project management and cost control for regional contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Association.
Jon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He also gives back to his community by volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics and Meals for the Heartland.
His favorite Mom’s Meals menu item is three cheese ravioli because it has a nice sauce and fresh green beans on the side.
