Help improve life through better nutrition — deliciously and conveniently

“We all need food to survive. But nutrition science shows us is that what we eat is really important to our health.”
Catherine Macpherson shared on The Balancing Act how nutrition is important to all of us, but especially when someone has a chronic condition, like diabetes, kidney disease or heart disease. In fact, the National Council on Aging states that 68% of U.S. adults ages 65 and older have two or more of these diseases.
She also added that research shows eating medically tailored meals, like we offer at Mom’s Meals®, resulted in helping people:
- Stay out of, or reduce their time, in the hospital or nursing home
- Improve their health
- Lower their health care spending
