Katina Little, Vice President, Technical Services, Food Safety and Quality Assurance and Environmental Health and Safety, joined Mom’s Meals in 2019 and has served as Senior Food Safety Manager and Director of Food Safety and Quality prior to being promoted to Vice President, Technical Services, Food Safety and Quality Assurance in 2021 and most recently Environmental, Health and Safety. In her current role, Katina is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food safety, quality and regulatory compliance, as well as environmental, health and safety of our team members across the company. This includes ensuring adherence to multiple codes of federal regulations such as those regulating the United States Department of Agriculture Food Safety Inspection Services (USDA FSIS) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in the preparation, fulfillment and distribution of Mom’s Meals high quality and nutritious home delivered meals.  

Prior to joining Mom’s Meals, Katina worked in a variety of roles at The Lauridsen Group, Kemin Health and Nutrition and Cargill. These roles included oversite in quality assurance programs and lab management for multiple business units. Her primary focus has been in animal feed, human food, dietary ingredients, biologics for diagnostic immunoassays, biopharmaceutical and vet vaccine industries, and medical foods in both FDA and USDA regulated products.  

Katina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from William Penn College. She also holds several food safety certifications such as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Certified Manager and training from the International HACCP Alliance; Seafood HACCP from the Association of Food and Drug Officials; Preventive Controls Qualified Individual from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance; and Safe Quality Food Practitioner from Safe Quality Food.

Her favorite Mom’s Meals menu item is Korean style BBQ meatballs.
