Mom’s Meals joined the Grinnell community in 2013 with the opening of a kitchen. Although this is our only kitchen facility in Iowa, it’s not the first. The original Mom’s Meals kitchen was located about an hour away in Nevada, Iowa.
This 40,000 square foot facility prepares hundreds of thousands of pounds of food each day. Our kitchen production teams use the finest ingredients and cook them to ideal tenderness in a temperature-controlled, USDA-inspected kitchen. Our state-of-the-art tray sealing equipment ensures the meals maintain their quality and flavor for the thousands of people who rely on them every day.
To date we have invested approximately $20 million in the campus and employ approximately 110 team members.
