Mom’s Meals® donated 59,863 medically tailored meals in 2025 to individuals experiencing nutrition insecurity, reinforcing the company’s broader effort to expand access to clinically designed nutrition nationwide. The impact is detailed in the company’s newly released 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, which outlines how Mom’s Meals continues to advance food as medicine through community investment, equitable access and employee engagement.
“Quality nutrition is essential for good health and overall well-being,” said Chris Choi, Chief Executive Officer of Mom’s Meals. “Unfortunately, more people today face barriers to accessing good nutrition than ever before. As the national leader in food as medicine, our responsibility extends beyond delivering meals and includes supporting the communities we serve. Our CSR efforts reflect our focus on expanding access to clinically designed nutrition and strengthening local partnerships.”
The 2025 CSR Report is organized around three pillars that guide the company’s community impact efforts: ensuring equitable food access, supporting our communities, and engaging employees to live the company’s mission of improving life through better nutrition at home.
Advancing Equitable Access to Nutrition
A central focus of the Mom’s Meals Hunger Challenge in 2025 was expanding access to medically tailored nutrition for individuals experiencing food insecurity. Through this initiative, the company donated 59,863 meals — nearly double its goal of 30,800 meals — distributed through nonprofit and community-based organizations serving vulnerable populations.
Supporting Communities in Times of Need
In 2025, Mom’s Meals strengthened its community support efforts through ingredient donations, disaster response and nonprofit partnerships. Key initiatives included:
- Nearly $323,000 worth of ingredients and sides donated to local food banks
- 500 food kits donated in partnership with United Way of Southern Nevada for The Just One Project
- 1,339 shelf-stable meals donated to Food Bank of Alaska
- California wildfire relief efforts, including a $10,000 contribution to American Red Cross disaster relief through employee matching initiatives and nearly 2,000 shelf-stable meals distributed through health plan partners
These efforts underscore the company’s commitment to providing reliable nutrition support during emergencies and in underserved communities.
Engaging Employees to Live the Mission
With over 2,000 team members nationwide and operations supported by 70 facilities across the country, Mom’s Meals empowers employees to extend the company’s mission beyond its daily operations.
Employee engagement initiatives in 2025 included:
- Over $3,000 donated to Meals from the Heartland’s Annual Hunger Fight
- Sponsorship support for community events such as Girls on the Run Sneaker Soiree and Orchard Place Moonlight Classic
- More than 130 school supply bags assembled for students in need
- 200 donated items for Iowa National Guard care packages
Together, these initiatives reflect a culture grounded in service, compassion and shared purpose.
Continuing to Scale Impact
Today, Mom’s Meals delivers over 1.5 million meals each week to homes across the country. Through its comprehensive food as medicine approach — including medically tailored meals, produce and pantry boxes, oral nutrition supplements, nutrition counseling and support — the company works to help individuals prevent, manage and treat diet-related chronic conditions.
Over the past 11 years, Mom’s Meals has delivered more than 500 million meals nationwide, reflecting the scale of its infrastructure and long-term commitment to expanding access to clinically designed nutrition. As demand for nutrition-based interventions continues to grow, the company remains focused on pairing national reach with meaningful community impact.
